Cannot connect to internet from a machine

1. Check if LAN cable is connected.
2. Check if internal network is accessible.
3. Check if modem is having internet.
This can be checked from firewall control panel. The dashboard of the panel has two graphs aligned on left and right. These graphs will be showing spikes/variations if there's internet. Analysis of this graph can be used to determine if internet is down in any of the modems.
Left graph- Airtel
Right graph- Asianet
4. If internet is down in any of the modems, restart it.

  Turn off the modem
Remove all (three) wires connected on the modem
Keep it off for atleast 3 minutes
Reconnect the wires and turn on the modem

5. If doing the above step does not fix the issue, call customer care.
