PCs might not boot up when you press the power button for an array of reasons. These are the most frequent resolutions we've needed to apply on several occasions.

Following this checklist will get you diagnose the issue quickly.

1. Check if monitor cable is properly connected and it's getting signals from CPU.
2. Check power cable of CPU and verify if it's faulty.
3. Open the cabinet and make sure the data cable of HDD is properly inserted.
4. Remove the RAM and clean the chip as well as the socket and put it back in.

If following the above steps didn't load up the OS, we might need to check deeper.

1. Swap the RAM with a spare chip and see if it resolve the issue. (There should be a single beep sound if there's an issue with memory chip).
2. If there is no signal at all from the CPU, swap the SMPS with a spare one and see if it solves it.
If swapping the above components did fix the issue, intimate accounts to purchase a new part to install in the system.

If all of the above steps failed, and the system is still not loading, this should be sent to a service center for detailed analysis and repair.

Note: OS issues are not emphasized in the above procedure and such issues should be handled differently according to the ERROR on screen
